Project Planning
Detailed and comprehensive planning about a new organisational
change initiative is not always undertaken, making the results
unpredictable and lacking measurable performance outcomes.
We work with experienced staff from every relevant area of
the business to ensure that specific sub-project objectives
are set, key tasks across the business are sequenced appropriately,
and resources and milestones agreed.
Project Management Methodology Development
Many businesses have no way of assessing the relative merits
and priorities among competing projects in the business. Sometimes
these project management methodologies exist in the business,
but only in technical Departments. We work with senior managers
to establish project control and management processes across
the whole organisation that will help deliver the immediate
project and endure after our departure.
Project Communication
Every project faces the dilemma of how much to tell whom in
an uncertain environment. We work with key staff to develop
and drive a communications plan to tell the business what
it needs to know, when it needs to know it.
Problem Analysis and Solutions Development
Many organisational issues are complex, and have no simple
solutions. Parts of the solution are widely held by individual
staff in the business, particularly as the projects become
more complex. We will work with your key staff to rigorously
define the issues that need to be addressed, prioritise them,
and develop appropriate plans to address them within achievable
and resourced timeframes.
Project Management
Complex change initiatives require guiding hands, from both
the key senior executives who initiated the project, and support
staff who ensure that tasks are identified, documented, resourced
and carried out on time. We will work with your senior executives
to control the developing project, ensure they understand
just enough of the complexities to lead it, and the "I's
get dotted and the T's get crossed". We will drive the
staff who have to do the work to complete it, and warn senior
executives when expectations are unrealistic.
